As the Associated Press reported on November 6th 2023, "In previous wars, the ministry’s counts have held up to U.N. scrutiny, independent investigations and even Israel’s tallies."
Despite the challenging wartime conditions since October 7th, the Gaza Ministry of Health casualty numbers continue to be considered reliable.
