CLAIM: It is Hamas that’s been rejecting all ceasefire deals since October 7th 2023.
Both sides have blamed the other for rejecting many of the ceasefire deals since October 7th 2023.
Hamas has indeed rejected some ceasefire proposals, such as in April 2024 as well as in August 2024 when Israel reversed some previously agreed-upon conditions and added new ones that Hamas deemed unacceptable.
Israel has also foiled or rejected a number of ceasefire deals. Far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir admitted on January 14th 2025 that he has repeatedly foiled a hostage-ceasefire deal over the past year. “In the last year, using our political power, we managed to prevent this deal from going ahead, time after time,” he wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Similarly, MK Bezalel Smotrich allegedly sabotaged the July 2024 ceasefire deal with Hamas by threatening to leave Netanyahu’s coalition if the deal went ahead.
One reply on “Israel-Palestine Mega Fact Check!”
Keep trying to invent history. The palis didn’t exist until the mid 1960s.
One other fun fact – every group, every political organization, and every government that has ever tried to destroy the Jews has been destroyed. Fun fact #2 Israel has never been stronger.
