Israel did precisely this when it partnered with the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) during the Oslo accords (1993, 1995)—an organization whose primary goal used to be to overthrow Israel. With time, communication, and compromise, it is possible to eventually achieve peace with even your sworn enemy. Just because a particular group (like the PLO or Hamas) has threatened and attacked Israel in the past, doesn’t mean that this will always be the case. If both sides are willing to make an effort, there is likely a way to come up with a compromise solution that may lead to lasting peace on both sides.

One other fun fact – every group, every political organization, and every government that has ever tried to destroy the Jews has been destroyed. Fun fact #2 Israel has never been stronger.
