Israel-Palestine Mega Fact Check!

CLAIM: Israel must prevent the entry of concrete and pipes into Gaza because Hamas uses those to build tunnels and weapons.

RATING: Mostly false

There are official mechanisms to allow dual-use materials into Gaza such that they are used strictly for civilian purposes. In September 2014, Israel, the UN, and the PA signed an agreement called the Gaza Reconstruction Mechanism (GRM). The goal of the GRM was to monitor the end-use of every dual-use item (such as bags of cement) so that they were used for civilian infrastructure (instead of militant uses, like tunnels). However, by April 2017 COGAT started vetoing virtually all requests for dual-use items requested via this process, including steel and cement.

One reply on “Israel-Palestine Mega Fact Check!”

Keep trying to invent history. The palis didn’t exist until the mid 1960s.
One other fun fact – every group, every political organization, and every government that has ever tried to destroy the Jews has been destroyed. Fun fact #2 Israel has never been stronger.
