Member of Knesset (MK) Bezalel Smotrich on April 29 2024 called for the “complete” wiping out of the cities of Rafah, Deir Al-Balah and Nuseirat in Gaza. "You will blot out the remembrance of Amalek [Israel’s codeword for Palestinian Arabs] from under heaven”.
"There are no innocent civilians in Gaza," Israel President Isaac Herzog said on October 14 2023.
Israeli Metula Mayor David Azoulai said in December 2023 that "The whole Gaza Strip needs to be empty. Flattened. Just like in Auschwitz,” the infamous Nazi extermination and concentration camps.
Former MK Ayelet Shaked posted on Facebook in June 2014 that “the entire Palestinian people is the enemy” and should be destroyed, “including its elderly and its women, its cities and its villages, its property and its infrastructure.”
Likud member Moshe Feiglin said in Oct 2023: "There is one and only solution, which is to completely destroy Gaza before invading it.”
Dror Eydar, Israel’s former ambassador to Italy, said in Oct 2023: "For us, there is a purpose: to destroy Gaza, to destroy the absolute evil."
