CLAIM: Palestinians never had a king, a language, a currency, a culture, or even a history.
This claim is sometimes made in order to give the impression that Palestinians are not a distinct nation—that they are no different from all other Arab nations and thus have no claim to the land of Palestine.
It is true that Palestinians never had their own Palestinian king; like most modern nations, they’ve instead had ruling parties, such as the PLO and Hamas.
They do not have an entirely unique language, but do have their own Palestinian Arabic dialect. Does the fact that Americans speak English instead of “American” make them any less of a nation?
As for currency, Palestinians did briefly have their own currency in the form of Palestinian pounds during the British Mandate. Today, however, Palestinians use instead a combination of Israeli shekels, US dollars, and Jordanian dinars. Is France any less of a nation because it uses euros instead of francs?
But something the Palestinians do have is their own unique history and culture, including ancient mosques and churches, their own artists, and their own customs and traditions. How could any people not? If Palestinians have no history or culture, then why do their ancient churches, mosques, and museums keep being destroyed by the IDF?

One reply on “Israel-Palestine Mega Fact Check!”
Keep trying to invent history. The palis didn’t exist until the mid 1960s.
One other fun fact – every group, every political organization, and every government that has ever tried to destroy the Jews has been destroyed. Fun fact #2 Israel has never been stronger.
